About the Role
SwiftPack Logistics Ltd. operates a 200,000 sq. ft. automated fulfilment centre in Park Royal, West London, processing over 50,000 orders per day for a portfolio of UK’s fastest-growing e-commerce brands. As a Warehouse Packer, you will work on a specific section of the fulfilment process — receiving picked items, verifying orders against pick lists, selecting appropriate packaging materials, packing items securely, applying correct shipping labels, and loading completed orders onto dispatch conveyor systems. The role requires speed, accuracy, and physical stamina, but also offers a sociable, music-friendly workplace environment with modern break rooms, free parking, and a strong team culture.
Your Responsibilities
- Pick individual items from warehouse shelving using a handheld RF scanner and pick list, achieving daily accuracy targets of 99.5% or above.
- Pack orders into appropriately sized boxes, mailing bags, or protective packaging in compliance with product fragility requirements.
- Apply the correct shipping label, address, and carrier tracking barcode to every outbound parcel before placing on the dispatch conveyor.
- Verify order completeness by scanning each item before sealing packaging, flagging any shortages or substitutions in the WMS system.
- Meet individual daily productivity targets (units per hour) while maintaining accuracy and packaging quality standards.
- Support the inbound receiving team by unboxing incoming supplier deliveries and placing stock into the correct storage locations.
- Conduct daily inventory cycle counts within your assigned warehouse zone and report discrepancies to the inventory team.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free, and organized workstation compliant with SwiftPack’s health and safety policies.
- Assist during peak trading periods (Christmas, Black Friday) by working additional overtime shifts to meet surge volumes.
What You Bring
- No formal qualifications or prior warehouse experience required — full training is provided on the first day.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 kg repeatedly throughout an 8 or 10-hour shift.
- Good attention to detail with a commitment to order accuracy and packaging quality on every single parcel.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read pick lists, scan barcodes, and count stock items accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work rotating day and afternoon shifts and to volunteer for overtime during peak periods.
- Right to Work in the UK is required; skilled worker visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
