Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy trucks in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and identify mechanical issues.
- Transport goods efficiently while meeting delivery deadlines.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling techniques to prevent damage or injury.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle shipment documentation, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained to reflect a professional image.
- Follow company policies and all applicable transportation regulations.
- Monitor road and weather conditions, adjusting routes as necessary for safety.
- Operate extended platforms (up to 20 meters in length).
- Be ready to join immediately.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience driving heavy trucks (more preferred).
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and maintenance.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to handle heavy loads.
- Strong time management and route planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure in challenging conditions.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with clients and team members.
- Strong commitment to safety and accident prevention.
- Must have a transferable Saudi residence permit.
