About the Role
Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Co. operates one of Qatar’s largest and most modern manufacturing complexes in the Mesaieed Industrial City, producing construction materials, industrial chemicals, and processed goods for domestic and export markets. As a Factory Worker, you will be deployed across production lines, packaging departments, material handling operations, or warehouse functions depending on your skills and physical capacity. Full safety induction, PPE, and job-specific skills training are provided before you begin any production duties. This is a straightforward and physically active role offering excellent financial rewards and a safe, well-managed working environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate production line machinery, assembly stations, or packaging equipment under the supervision of a qualified machine operator or production supervisor.
- Feed raw materials into processing machines and monitor output for quality defects, inconsistencies, or machine alarms.
- Pack finished products into cartons, bags, or containers following the correct specifications for weight, labelling, and sealing.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from production areas to warehouse using manual handling or mechanical equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of your assigned workstation and production area throughout the shift in compliance with the factory’s 5S standards.
- Attend daily safety briefings, follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and report any hazards immediately.
- Support inventory teams with stock counting, goods labelling, and pallet organization in the raw materials and finished goods warehouse.
- Assist maintenance technicians with basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and changeover tasks during scheduled downtime.
What You Bring
- No formal educational qualification required; the ability to follow instructions and perform physical tasks is essential.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for 8–12 hours per shift, lift up to 30 kg, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts including weekends on a 6-days-on, 1-day-off schedule.
- Basic safety awareness and the ability to understand and follow spoken and written safety instructions in English.
- Prior factory, warehouse, or construction experience is a bonus but not required for entry-level production positions.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and shift discipline.
