About the Role
LuLu Hypermarket Qatar is currently expanding its workforce across multiple store locations and departments. Open positions include Sales Associates, Cashiers, Grocery & Fresh Food Counter Staff, Warehouse Stock Clerks, Customer Service Representatives, Security Guards, Housekeeping Staff, and Administrative Assistants. Each role plays a vital part in ensuring LuLu’s stores deliver the world-class shopping experience that millions of Qatar residents have come to expect. All positions offer structured induction training, department-specific skills development, and a clear merit-based promotion ladder within LuLu’s large retail organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist shoppers on the sales floor by answering product queries, helping locate merchandise, and providing a friendly, helpful service experience.
- Operate checkout tills accurately handling cash, credit/debit card, and digital payment transactions with speed and precision.
- Receive, unpack, check, and replenish stock on shelves, ensuring correct pricing, labelling, and FIFO rotation is maintained.
- Monitor product expiry dates across food sections and remove or report near-expiry items to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of your assigned department section, aisle, or checkout area throughout the trading day.
- Process customer returns, exchanges, and complaints efficiently and escalate complex issues to the floor manager.
- Assist with promotional display setup, seasonal merchandising, and planogram compliance as directed by the visual merchandising team.
- Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits as scheduled by the inventory management team.
- Uphold LuLu Hypermarket’s customer service standards, brand values, and code of conduct at all times.
What You Bring
- Minimum high school certificate for entry-level roles; diploma or degree preferred for supervisory and administrative positions.
- Good spoken and written English; Arabic language skills are an advantage in customer-facing roles.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive, professional attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift boxes of up to 25 kg, and work in refrigerated food sections when required.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends, and Qatar public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for cashiering and administrative roles.
- Prior retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but freshers with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
- All nationals welcome; Qatar Residence Permit sponsorship provided for selected international candidates.
