About the Role
As a delivery driver in Dubai, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering packages, food orders, groceries, or retail goods to customers across the city. You must be familiar with Dubai’s road network and able to use GPS or delivery apps efficiently. The role requires time management, professionalism, and a customer-friendly attitude, as you will often be the final point of contact between the company and its customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Pick up delivery items from warehouses, restaurants, or supplier locations.
- Deliver packages or orders to correct addresses within stipulated timeframes.
- Verify customer identification for age-restricted or high-value deliveries.
- Maintain an updated delivery log using mobile applications or paper records.
- Handle items carefully to avoid damage during transport.
- Communicate with dispatch teams regarding route changes or delays.
- Collect payment or obtain electronic signatures upon successful delivery.
- Report traffic incidents, vehicle faults, or unsuccessful deliveries promptly.
